GIC Activity Week Concept Note

Manifest Fellowship is an outreach arm of Phaneroo Ministries International representing the Ministry across Uganda and the World. Manifest Fellowship, therefore, reaches out to communities, schools, hospitals, and institutions of higher learning and one such form of reaching out has been through the Global Inter-University Conference(GIC). GIC is scheduled to take place on Saturday 4th November 2023. The conference seeks to align young people to a focused life to bring out the God-given mandate; thereby aligning them to deeper levels of responsibility to their communities and the world.

Quality Standards

Purpose

In preparation for the Global Inter-University Conference, Manifest Fellowship has organized a mission. This mission has been slated for Monday 30th October to Saturday 4th August. This will be an invitation and opportunity for campus students, University alumni, and all available people to serve as missionaries to Universities in Kampala. This week will be led by Campus Ministry.

Objectives

a) Mobilize university students for GIC. b) Equip and encourage campus team members to actively share their faith with others, providing training on evangelism methods and distributing resources such as gospel tracts, fliers etc.

Activity Plan

The team will be based in Kinoni area, in the heart of the biggest student population in Kampala, close to universities, schools and hospitals for easy movement during the mission. The team will meet at Sky Bliss, Kikoni daily for morning glory and breakfast and will return every evening for supper and evening prayer.

Hospitality Arrangements


We have provided Global Teams with the contact of Shiloh Travel Agency who have put
together a tailored package of $120 per day for the GIC mission week including airport pick up,
drop off, guest house accommodation and transportation within KLA.
